My storage cabinet used to be cluttered & disorganized. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I drug everything out. First, I threw away what had already expired or dried-up. Then I sorted the items into cleaning supplies, paint & art supplies, and containers & pitchers. Once I realized how exactly what I had left, I then determined how much space to allow for these items. In no time I had organized the shelves into a user-friendly space, where I can easily grab-and-go!Tips:
- Group like items together: floor cleaning products, bathroom cleaning products, etc.
- Stack empty containers to save space
- Store lids in a separate basket
- Put the cleaning supplies on the highest shelf away from little hands
- Put the kid-friendly supplies on the lowest shelf for easy access
